Microdermabrasion is a skin treatment that rejuvenates the skin by expediting skin’s natural renewal process by means of removing topmost layer of dead skin-cells and helping the newly formed skin to shine.
Skin is comprised of two main layers, dermis and epidermis. Epidermis is the outermost layer of the skin that has contact with the environment. This layer is always in the process of maturing and responsible for generating new skin. It normally takes 28 days for new fresh skins to be regenerated and two more weeks to come to the surface. This long process suffocates the new skin and takes its freshness and luster long before it reaches the surface. In microdermabrasion, by removing the topmost layer called the stratum corneum which sits on top of the newly created skin, brings the new skin to the surface before it turns into layers of dead skin-cells.
This process is done with high precision only at the level of stratum corneum and leaves other skin layers intact. This method unlike other methods of abrasion that were applicable to certain skin types is suitable for any skin and we offer the latest technology in this treatment.
